Dad and Diane LOVE the holly trees on the property! Which is a good thing because there are lots of them! David cut down all of the ones on our property but can't convince Dad and Diane to do the same. :)

Clearing the land!

Here is the land shorty after it was cleared. The first picture was taken from the road and looking up the driveway. They wanted to make sure they had a house in the woods and I think they have succeeded!

Choosing the right spot!

Dad and Diane bought a piece of land in Louisa, Virginia with some of the best neighbors they could ever ask for, The Liddles! These pictures were taken as we were all walking through the woods trying to find the ideal spot to build their house.

Getting Started!

It's hard to believe that the Trexler House is really going to be built here in Virginia! Dad and Diane have been talking about this for quite a while and now the time has come for things to start happening! I wanted to start this blog because I know that they will want to see the progress of the house as often as possible. Even though they are 500 miles away, I want them to feel like they are here and experience the building of their new home. They will also be able to share this blog with family and friends when ever they like. I hope you enjoy sharing in their journey!
